Check-in was fast and hassle-free. Rooms were super clean and had everything like a microwave, mini fridge, and a nice flat-screen TV. Loved the heated outdoor pool with comfy sun loungers. Breakfast was a joy, with fresh bagels and oatmeal. Location is convenient, close to restaurants and attractions.

elevators were painfully slow, making it frustrating at times. The bed was quite comfortable, but I had issues with noise from the hallway during the night, which interrupted my sleep.

I appreciated the amazing proximity to both the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Colligan Theatre, making it easy to explore and soak in the sights without a hassle, while the free breakfast was a great start to my day of adventures. However, I did notice some noise disturbances from nearby guests that could be improved for a more restful experience.

the holiday inn express was a comfortable stay, with a great location close to everything. the breakfast options were delicious, especially the egg white pepper omelette. the on-site gym was impressive, providing a nice workout experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! We visited the beach and explored the boardwalk, letting our inner child shine. The pool was fantastic—heated and open late, perfect after a day out. Breakfast had good choices, and the staff was super friendly.

However, the parking spots in the garage were a bit narrow due to concrete pillars, making it tricky to find a good spot.
